Meet Ruby!

Last night I decided to take a short break from Dragon Land and create a 3-D humming bird. I followed the tutorial put out by Nicole of Mossy Creek Designs Her work was inspired by Christi Friesen and then she put her own spin on it. I then took her focal piece design and made it into a free standing...well free flying piece. (this was inspired by another artist, but for the life of me I can't remember who. (my apologies to the artist who inspired me, if it's you please let me know so that I can credit you for the idea!) To finish Ruby off I will be placing the flower into a small votive holder with some pebbles and faux water. (God willing that will be heavy enough to counter balance the weight, slight though it is, of Ruby)

Hope you all enjoy her!
Deborah
BTW...starting tomorrow I will be featuring a different artist or crafts person every Tuesday. I hope you will stop in to learn about many other artists out there creating away!
